Home
Home is the fastest way to begin a Composer task. Choose an existing source, upload a video, connect Google Drive, or start a tool directly.
Choose how to begin
| Starting point | Use it when |

Select existing video | The source is already available in the active workspace. |
Upload video | The footage is not indexed yet and you have permission to add it. |
Google Drive | The source lives in an approved connected Drive. |
Get clips in one click | You want Composer to suggest a quick first cut from a source. |
Confirm the active index before selecting a source. The index controls which videos, entities, brand templates, and generated results you can see.
Start from a tool
Home also exposes the most common starting tools:
- Long to Short creates an editable landscape cut from a long source.
- AI Reframe creates short portrait candidates from a source.
- Produce from Set turns a reviewed Working Set into a first cut.
- Generate MBM creates a minute-by-minute source breakdown.
After a tool starts, use the Result tab to reopen the generated project and continue in Studio.
Recent results
Home shows recent generated projects and their current status. Use View all results to open the full Result library. A failed or in-progress result is useful diagnostic information; it is not a finished video.
