Create short clips from one source

Composer can create a short-form candidate from one ready source. Use Long to Short when you want an editable cut, or AI Reframe when the output should adapt the framing for a portrait result.

1. Start from a ready source

Open Sources, confirm the source is ready, and use its action menu. You can also start from Home. Choose the tool and configure the options shown for your workspace, such as ratio, duration, angle, or brand treatment.

2. Submit once and follow progress

Write a short angle that describes the moment you want. Select the generation action once, then follow the job in Result. A queued or failed job is not a finished video; inspect its details before retrying.

3. Review the completed candidate

Open the ready result in Studio. Check the selected source window, framing, captions, audio, and brand treatment. Generated titles, exact duration, and selected moments can vary between runs.
