MBM export
MBM creates a structured first pass over a source: time ranges, summaries, representative frames, and any available entity matches.
Generate a breakdown
- Open Sources and select a ready source.
- Open the source action menu.
- Choose Generate MBM when it is available.
- Wait for the job to finish.
- Open the MBM result and review the rows against the source video.
The action may be unavailable while a source is not ready or when the workspace does not expose MBM.
Verify the rows
Check that time ranges are ordered, cover the intended source, and stay inside the source duration. Play representative frames and qualify summaries that are incomplete, ambiguous, or unsupported by the footage.
If a CSV or XLSX download is available:
- open the downloaded file outside Composer;
- confirm timestamps increase and remain within the source duration;
- compare names, numbers, and descriptions with the source;
- treat an empty entity field as an unavailable match, not proof that nobody appears.
MBM is a research aid. It does not replace source playback or editorial review.
