Composer works best when the source scope and editorial goal are clear.

Before you search

• Confirm the active index.
• Start only from sources that are Ready.
• Select the smallest source set that can answer the question.
• Write the story angle before collecting clips.
• Keep customer or private footage out of public examples.

While you search or ask

Play candidate moments and check their source, timestamp, picture, speech, and context. Save only evidence that supports the brief. Use a Working Set for one story instead of mixing unrelated clips.

While you generate

State the target audience, angle, duration, ratio, brand treatment, and restrictions. Submit once and follow the job in Result. A queued, failed, or concept result still needs another action before it is a deliverable.

Before you export

Open the ready project in Studio and play it through. Check:

1. source footage and ordering;
2. captions and transcript;
3. crop, layout, and aspect ratio;
4. logo, intro, outro, and audio;
5. final render and downloaded MP4.

Use Known limitations when a control or status does not behave as expected.
